Flow Thru Battens
Flow-Thru Battens by Trimline Building Products are designed to allow moisture drainage and air movement under tiles. Replacing traditional cedar or redwood batten strips, Flow-Thru Battens provide long-lasting stability for the placement, and a secure foundation, during the installation process. Installation is quick and easy because Flow-Thru Battens unique design eliminates the need for lath and battens (counter batten) applications and is easier to apply than traditional battens. Trimline's Flow-Thru Battens can be attached to the deck using a coil nail or staple gun and come in lightweight, 8-foot fold-out pieces that are easy to handle.
